Although not really considered a netbook, you have to admit that the Apple iPad is the direction that consumer electronics is heading and and is seriously a very cool tool.
The iPad may still be a bit high priced for many consumers, those who can afford one will find that they will want to have their iPad with them every where that they go.
Some may think of it as an expensive "toy" but the iPad is a serious piece of technology. It is also one of the hottest gadgets to hit the market in years and fortunately after a quick sellout they are back in stock.
Although with the iPad you can read books, newpapers and magazines in color, don't think of the iPad as a reader. If you want just a reader purchase a Kindle instead. The Kindle is easier on your eyes if you read a lot and is lighter and less expensive.
If you purchase an iPad use it to it's full potential, and once you start you'll find new ways to want to keep it handy. Do remember though that for a small device it does weight 1.5 pounds so it's not lightweight like your iPhone.
